But it wasn't; It was in the context of the whole speech, which was celebratory in nature. It could have been tongue-in-cheek; it could have been Trumps high opinion of himself. Who cares? Trump is getting the job done and the Liberal's don't like it, His supporters love it!

Here's a novel idea; why not watch the whole speech and make your own mind up?

Not as much as this was...

I thought it was a reasonable question... did not deserve the response it got from her at all.

The student actually was asking what President Obama thoughts were, but the translation went a bit hey wire, but when she asked if they wanted her to channel her husband, you can hear some in the audience say "no no", but she was too busy barking rather than listening, but even if they were asking what her husbands thoughts were, it didn't justify her reaction.

Thank heavens that sorry excuse did not make President.

Thought this thread was about Trump, however nice deflection once again Mick.

Doesn't seem to inform us much. Still wondering for what Steele was referred to the Justice Department for since it was assumed to be something coming from that testimony (which is probably why the Dems released it) but there isn't anything there that tells us.

I actually watched the whole speech, as these things are often taken out of context - I didn’t think this was.

Wind your neck in FFS. What is posted in this thread is none of your concern.

This thread is about Trump, but it’s also about who we avoided as being next President. If you don’t like what I post. Tough.

Fair enough, no problem having different perspectives on this.

I watched it too. I had sympathy for Trump with the recent criticism of his singing the national anthem (he's hard of hearing and he's not paid for his singing skills) but this just seemed like a huge lack of self-awareness of what he was saying if he put himself in the audience's shoes.
It didn't seem at all like he was joking when he said that he gave them that privilege but maybe I don't get his irony.

The Democrats were totally out of order releasing a full closed session testimony in the middle of an active investigation.

If it was a recent video and Clinton was a future presidential candidate I think you might have a point.
As things stand, it does give the impression to me of attempting to draw attention away from negative aspects of Trump and his presidency. Of course, that's just my perspective and others will form their own opinions.

Trump was 'out of order' when he boasted of being able to grab women by the ****** and do whatever he wanted with them.

Could have been worse - the Chairman of the Investigate Committee could have taken classified information about the person being investigated to brief the person being investigated...

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...ee-white-house

Or Republican Committee members leaking parts of the closed session testimony to the press...

Nice try but he was cleared of any wrong doing and you should know by now, I don’t believe crap written in the guardian.

Yet funnily after all that he was still elected President.

Maybe I've watched more Trump speeches and more used to his style? In reality, it's irrelevant; the audience didn't seem to care.

Trump is full of himself, no question about it. But he's not afraid to stand up to threatening countries, getting the economy sorted, lowering unemployment, reducing illegal immegrants and standing up for Israel when the whole world is showing a tendency towards anti-Semitism. Then despite his arrogance, as the American expression goes... Go Trump!
