The Robbie Earle ticket scandal.
It appears that ITV have opened up a can of worms that maybe ALL clubs in the Premier League and FA should have done years ago.
Ok SE did something wrong, wether he knew what he was doing or not, he has paid the price, but what about on a League game night or Cup game, you will see endless Touts selling tickets outside grounds for extortinate prices, what about them.
Outside Twickenham rugby for example, you will see loads of touts selling £50.00 tickets for way about that price.

Steve Earle is a fast livin' country rock singer/songwriter. Not sure he's ever worked for ITV sports

You will find that the Sports and Entertainment industries as a whole make massive efforts to stop touts. They try various tricks (late release of tickets, personalising tickets etc) to prevent them. The venues do employ staff to chase the touts off, but it's still a massive problem. However, it is one they certainly aren't ignoring.
