Blimey he's late, we used to remind mum and dad about Christmas shortly after Easter...
We used to love drawing up our Christmas lists. Even though we knew we'd not get most of the stuff on them it was still exciting wonder what Santa would bring. Happy days...

Off back home tomorrow after 11 days away.
Then flying to Boston on Thursday for a Metronomy concert followed by Plymouth Rock, Mayflower II, Cape Cod and loads of Pilgrim related stuff.

What really beautiful weather we are having at the moment. I wish August had been like this.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Walking the dog (border collie)this morning when my wife and I noticed a flock of sheep getting out of their field through a hole in the fence (probably due to teenagers again).
We rounded them up and put them back into their field + repaired the fence.
Warm fuzzy feeling

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
We're all off to the local pub tonight for some food and drinks as a belated birthday treat for the boys. It's great being able to take our youngest and watch him sitting there with a large apple juice looking as if he's got a real pint in front of him.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Beef curry that I made yesterday wasn't that nice, so left it overnight to let it 'mature' and tasted it this afternoon and it was a million times better than yesterday. So had a big portion of it for tea tonight.
