Shoot Em Up
5/10
Way OTT, totally stupid but kind of enjoyable.

James Bond: Quantum of Solace.
Crap storyline, me neither my friends understood it. Good action scenes but use too much "shaky" effect. Quite short. Wouldn't bother watching again, Batman is still film of the year for me.
Casino Royale was brilliant = 9/10
Quantum of Solace = 5/10.

Quantum of Solace 4/10
Story was terrible, shaky cam did get really annoying and also it appeared to be really badly edited! There was so many moments where the scenes skipped to somewhere else without finishing what was taking place previously.
Action scenes were good though.
Also the theme song is poor which matches the film perfectly!

Well I enjoyed Quantum of Solace..It passed a crappy rainy Saturday nicely.I never noticed any poor editing and as for shaky cam well what do you expect in an action film?
The only thing I didn't like was the theme tune..that was totally boring, banal and unremarkable and mostly it will be the most unmemorable Bond theme of all time.

Made me fall asleep half way through, i know bad acting, OTT action etc are all apart of a bond film but wow i want that few hours of my life back.
Swordfish
8/10
Excellent is all i can say, very well scripted, very well thought out and great action on top of it!

Iron Man - 8/10 - A liitle slow to start but it makes up for it later. It gets an extra point for having Suicidal Tendencies in the soundtrack.

Recount
Dramatisation of the Florida 2000 recount, shown on C4 last night.
Very well made, with a great cast (Kevin Spacey, John Hurt, & more).

Quantum of Solace 7/10 not bad more on the lines of the Bourne trilogy than any previous Bond movie, also for a change not reliant on gadgets or gimmicks.

re: Rate the last movie you saw
I saw Quantum of Solace today and I really enjoyed it. 9/10. I agree that it was done in a similar style to Bourne, especially the rooftop chase and the knife fight. No wacky gadgets was good as well.

I haven't seen it yet, but I have to say that I'm 1 of the people who actually likes the gadgets.
