I had my letter mid month. The payment is in November or December. £500 will help when the lecky bill arrives.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Received an email from the NHS PATCHES system asking me to book a blood test (for my repeat (low dosage) Statins prescription) - whilst I was on the phone, I also booked a Pneumococcal vaccine* appointment.
* What the pneumococcal vaccine is for
The pneumococcal vaccine helps protect against some types of bacterial infections that can cause serious illnesses like:
meningitis (an infection in the brain and spinal cord)
sepsis (a life-threatening reaction to an infection)
pneumonia (an infection in the lungs)
It can also help protect against other illnesses such as sinusitis and ear infections.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Came across an old photo of myself I’ve been look for for ages.
It was taken 10 years ago yesterday so its a decade’s comparison and I’m pretty happy with the transformation. Certainly feel better about how I look now.
39 vs 49.

You only need it once! Thanks for the info, I was not aware of its extensive range of protections!

On saturday I went to a Mosk...... I hadnt ever been to one before!
I cant believe they openly just let anyone in with whats happening in thier country!!
After awhile a guy came out of an office and I told him it was a wonderful BLDG and I said I felt bad whats happening to his country and I put my arms around him.... He was nice,he said "Thank you for caring" then he said I should go because they were about to have sunset prayer so I did..........

Well done Tinks, should buy you a couple of bottles of Vimto. I should have had a go, I am certainly feeling lucky. This last week has seen a turn for the better in my families lives.
According to my medical team I seem to be on my way back into remission.
Our son has had a year long battle going on with the Inland Revenue following his divorce but had a letter this week confirming ... in writting.... that he doesn't owe any money and they have actually appologised.
Then we got word that my husband's replacement hip operation could be done early next year, then yesterday, we got another phone call offering him the operation on 20 December instead as his Cosultant has managed to fit him into her list early, of course he accepted, fingers crossed he will be home by Christmas.
Just seeing our son smile and knowing that my husband will be out of pain and be able walk soon makes me happy.
Oh and SUFC won 2-1 but that's a completely different happy thought.

A hip replacement is a 3 to 5 day stay in hospital so I'm hoping for him to be out before Christmas.
