Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
I washed my vertical blinds last week and I was not happy with the result, so I took them down again today and run them under the shower and lay them on a big towel to take the water of them and put them back up on the window, Thank the Lord they are back to normal

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Oh nash it was a real worry for us as hubby ain't as young as he used to be and he did not fancy that Tupe transfer at all, he would rather have went out the door with his redundancy. Just so glad that it's all worked out for us I'm counting my blessing even as I type Happy Happy household and I'm very blessed that things have went in our favour.

I have some good news of my own well actually some fantastic news. It is very much looking like hubby will be getting what he requested and redeployed very soon, we are just waiting for the paper work to confirm what was said. Thank goodness he is no longer on the Tupe transfer list. Hubby had a meeting with his manager and HR on Friday and they confirmed that he will be getting redeployed with the same pay and hours etc all I can say is phew that was a hard few months of not knowing and I'm for one glad it is over for us but can't help but feel sorry for his work mates as most have not been as fortunate as us.
I owe a big thank you to our eldest son for his knowledge in employment law and letter writing skills.

Great news, pleased for you and yours

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Just been invited to friends house in Peebles tomorrow for lunch, our friend is such a good baker their is always some mouth watering delight at the end of our meal so it goes without say that we have gladly accepted this offer. It will also be good for the wee one to get away and I do hope she has made her Rum Baba's as they are lovely but then again so is her fat free Victoria sponge.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Overjoyed. Years ago when I was very irresponsible with money, I let a debt build up. Today, the last repayment on the debt was made. Took me 3 years but I have cleared the debt. So pleased.
