Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has agreed a deal to move to AC Milan but the asking price from the Gunners could prevent any switch. (Gazzetta dello Sport, 1335 BST)

Not the first time a would be chairman of Barcelona has tried this ploy. Joan Laporta did exactly the same thing in 2003, with David Beckham.

Re: Close Season Transfer Rumour Mill
Tottenham will sign forward Giovani dos Santos from Barcelona, subject to a medical and agreeing personal terms.
The Mexico international will sign a five-year deal in a move which will cost an initial £4.7m and could rise to £8.6m depending on appearances.
He scored a hat trick in Barca's last game of the season, could be a good buy.

Pretty cheap as well considering his potential, might struggle to get in the team though, considering they have Modric now

I dont think A. Fergie will let him as he's under contract, b. Real will pay what Fergie will demand.

Re: Close Season Transfer Rumour Mill
I know it's the star but i thought this was very strange.
But Ronaldo's mum Dolores Aveiro has told the 23-year-old to stay at Old Trafford. (Star Sport)
I would have thought she would be telling him to go.
