Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
My older sister is picking me up at nine this morning to go down and see my mother in hospital. Hoping they can discharge her soon so we can get her settled back in her own house. Should help reduce her confusion.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Well the first two days of the meeting one struggled to get a win but thankfully the last couple of days the floodgates have opened and more then made up for the losses of the first two days.

That's excellent news dilli and now all you have to do is send out the invites for the party.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
A mate of mine had his HUGE greenhouse broken into and most of his plants, including superhot chillies, destroyed.
They also slashed his liquid feed flexible tank.
He makes a lot of his income from sauces and powders he makes, so was facing financial ruin. Just as he was about to open a shop based on chillies (also put on hold as the builders have gone bust).
But the online chilli community I am part of has rallied around and he has been receiving replacement equipment and plants to get him going again.

I hope all goes well with your Mum heero. Once your Mum is back in her own home and familiar surroundings this will hopefully reduce her confusion. Take care and wishing you a safe journey there and back.

Thanks Weenie, we're going in to see her this afternoon. She's now in West Cornwall Hospital in Penzance so it's just down the road. Got down too late to visit yesterday as we dropped by my other sister in Teignmouth for a family conference and to discuss care options.

Sitting in my back garden listening to the birds singing while having a cuppa. Pure bliss well at least for a couple of more hours before the kids awake.
