Come on you can tell us are you MR Branston in disguise, we won't tell honest.

l have posted several clear links that clearly tell one that the Streaming giants will not enter the Premier league rights market but its okay Sir as the clear proof will come soon enough early next year for you both when Sky and BT win the rights again.

Maybe, OB views you as a Luddite?
Personally, i think they will run side by side by side for a good while longer. But eventually, most things will be streamed. the day that will happen is anyones guess. But to deny that streaming services seem to be growing in number and content, seems crazy to me.

I said it would be five years or so before linear channels would start to die off. In the meantime, the broadband revolution needs to extend to the rest of the country.
No contradiction there, muppetman.

I have said several times i believe a streaming company will get a highlights pack.
Streaming is the future but linear certainly isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

l have never denied that Streaming services ain't growing PB but my view on the Premier league and many other big UK sports rights have been pretty consistent and indicate that l believe that there is very little chance of the streaming giants ever bidding in the UK premier league rights market for the reasons l have explained quite succinctly before on this thread.

Totally agree but let's not forget streaming On Demand titles is far easier and less complex than streaming live events to millions of people.

At the moment, that's true. But I am fully confident that in a few years time, streaming technology will have improved so much that it will be a none issue

It already has NBCsports, Espn, wwe network etc are prime examples of how far streaming live sports/events has come.
In uk we have more evidence of this with the superb BTsport app, eurosport and nowtv i would of included skygo but it's no secret what i think of that lol.

Good to know. Are they HD streams? I gather HD, for many people, is a must for sports fans.

Re: Netflix/Streaming Services
The ATP also run a great live streaming service for tennis which also includes full On Demand access to full matches, even historic matches.
