I don't know, but I was happy with the £30 charge (I shouldn't have put the key in the lock, thinking its OK).

Just been to the bank, and paid off our mortgage.
We can finally say "we own our house"!

Congratulations Hugh. I remember the big grins John and I exchanged when we walked out of the Building Society after we paid ours off. I seem to remember having a nice cup of coffee and cream buns to celebrate.

I'm guessing that Cobby is winging his way on his honeymoon.
I hope the drive isn't too jiggly, and that he and Juliann have a great time, and that the weather is good, and that he'll post some scenery pics.
My slightly happy thought is that eldest was going to have an op in November but it has been rushed through (not good) but will be over with in 3 weeks.
