Still, each to their own

Re: The what are you drinking now thread
I'm now drinking peach iced tea but I also drink iced cappuccino which nobody else seems to like at all which is fab as it's more for me
@ nash I also have had iced tea while abroad and tbh it was not nice. The tea's that den has posted are very nice especially the peach one but it does need to be chilled IMO.

Just about to go to the local for an ice-cold pint of Stella in the beer garden under a shade.

Americans tend to drink that a lot - I used to hate it and then I started trying them with tea the way that we drink it.
They would retort it with "y'all warm up your tea?" then ask every question that thy could, with one word. (I.e. how / where / why / when) etc etc. They still got it wrong so I gave up and let them continue to defile the drink.

A nice cold white wine. It's the only thing that's worked in this heat so far!

Water is actually far better in hot weather or a nice cup of tea you will find is far better then alcohol.

I bought some Lipton Iced tea with Lemon, only to get home to dicover it has Sorbitol which has Laxative effects if you take too much.
I'm fed up of iced water, coke.
I beliive it should be banned from putting this muck (sweeteners ending in "TOL" & "OL" in foodstuff.
Just google "Sugar free gummi bears" and read the hooror stories.

They warn of the laxative effects yes. However you'd have to drink litres of the stuff in one go for anything to happen. Drinking a glass or small bottle shouldn't cause any harm.
