Hi there can anyone help me out with this i live in north west london

im on virgin media 10mb when i run a speed test on this site it says

Mon, 14 May 2007 09:14:36 GMT

1st 512K took 1000 ms = 512 KB/sec, approx 4219 Kbps, 4.12 Mbps
2nd 512K took 1109 ms = 461.7 KB/sec, approx 3804 Kbps, 3.71 Mbps
3rd 512K took 1063 ms = 481.7 KB/sec, approx 3969 Kbps, 3.88 Mbps
4th 512K took 1031 ms = 496.6 KB/sec, approx 4092 Kbps, 4 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 4021 Kbps, 3.93 Mbps

but when i download somthing i download at 1000kbps thats 1 meg.

but now virgin media have upgrade 10mb to 20mb how do i get the 20mb do i need to change my modem or do somthing to it or should it just work without doing anything if so why isnt it working for me.

hope someone can help me with this
