Really don't know what to say Gary i get a good throat hit from my 18mg both with the original cartridges i got the 5 extra virgin i bought and now with the coffee eliquid i just bought if anything i get more of a thrroat hit with this then i ever got off amber leaf. Not sure why your having such a different experience given we have the same kit
