300 + 300 exisitng VM customer
I Have had a pay as you go V Mobile for about 3 years and it is'nt linked to my VM TV BB account.
Can I ring somewhere and change to the 300+300 £10/month deal and keep my exisiting VM pay as you go no.? Also my wife has VM pay as you go again not linked to VM account will VM give us two 300+300 £10 deals? Thanks |
Re: 300 + 300 exisitng VM customer
This page here http://www.virginmobile.com/vm/simCardOnly.do says you can keep your number plus other information you may require about getting it changed to pay monthly.
As for more than 1 sim, yes you can. My wife and I are on the 300\300 for £10. |

As with every time I contact Virgin I got through to an Indian Call Centre twice who started telling me I need to sign up for 12 months and they could only give me a 100 minute bonus, no idea what they were talking about and they could not understand the words 300!
Is there anyway of speaking to someone in the UK who will be able to deal with my simple request? |

Ring Virgin Mobile directly (0800 0520837)? Although I'm not sure if they can give out the cable-sims. In all my dealings with them I've never heard an Indian accent.

The sim only 300+300 for £10/mth deal (for VM customers) is certainly not tied to 12 months. here's the info: http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html...bileoffer.html I have three sims on the 300+300 for £10/mth deal, the most recent of which I received this month. |
Re: 300 + 300 exisitng VM customer
When you add that to your basket you get 200+200 for £10!!!! Even when choosing 300+300!
I have two exisiting PAYG Virgin Mobiles, if I sign up online they are going to send me two new sims and tel nos.??? Can't they just put the 300+300 on my exisiting sim? Anyway now emailed VM PR email addresses forwarding the 300+300 ad asking for a UK person with knowledge of the offer to phone me!!! Thanks ---------- Post added at 19:05 ---------- Previous post was at 18:45 ---------- Managed to get 300+300 in basket :) But when they send me a SIM its not going to be for my current VM no. is it? How would I sort this? Thanks....again |
Re: 300 + 300 exisitng VM customer
Give the very helpful (British) people at VM a ring through 789 once youve got your new SIM and they will be able to sort it all out for you regarding transferring your number :)

Re: 300 + 300 exisitng VM customer
Rang VM, the woman said all done 10 mins later txt to both phones saying on Cable bundle of 300+300 for £10/month.
Take it that is it. I haven't paid anything up front and it says 1st payment due 29/9/08 £10?? Why is it paid in arrears or will they charge me £20 on 29/9 for each phone? Also I emailed VM press office to complain and copied in Neil.Berkett@virginmedia.co.uk thinking that was CEO email address he emailed back instantly with one line saying we're on to it. IS THAT A FAKE EMAIL ADDRESS? Thanks |
Re: 300 + 300 exisitng VM customer
I got a call from VM tonight oferring the 300 mins/300 txts the usual for a sim card for £10.BUT!! they offered it to me for 50pence a month! thats 50p! they said that due to billing issues on both sides i would still be charged £10 but they would credit £9.50 each month off my TV/Bb and phone bill. And because there is no contract its not for 12/18 months but as long as i want it.
Has anyone else came across this or had a call?? |
Re: 300 + 300 exisitng VM customer
back in Feb I changed my wifes Virgin mobile to the 300 + 300 she was previously on a virgin payg and was spending about 15 - 20 Pounds a month we aslo took out the 4 for 40 deal. the same mobile no was kept. As the virgin bill was in my name and the mobile was in her name we had to transfer the mobile to my name. I was also able to keep my previous packages 2mb broadband , XL tv package and the phone package with free evening and weekend calls for the 3 for 30 pound rate . Told them if I could not I would go off to sky. which of ourse they did not want also mentioned to them I have been with them since the cable corporation days dont know if that made any difference I doubt it . I also believe that if she does not use all of the mins they get credited the following month. We get 2 bills one from virgin media and 1 from virgin mobile ( ebilling ) . so all in all our combined bill is £ 40 a month plus 4 pound to call mobiles from the landline . may take that one off as the mrs who works 2 days and when she is at home the other 3 days she only uses the mobile so the home telephone calls are probably next to nothing

Virgin Mobile stopped roll over minutes a while ago: http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/93...300-300-a.html basically because noone else does roll over minutes any more.

If Mr or Mrs Noone can offer roll-over minutes then surely Virgin Mobile can.
