Max length of monitor HDMI cable

What is the maximum length of monitor HDMI cable?

Around 3 meters is ideal, can go up to 15 meters but might see some degradation. Depends on the quality of the cable or if you have boosters.

Set up a 2 way split 15 meter lengths at our Kingdom Hall with zero issues plus another 10 meter off the splitter too

I’ve used a 10 metre one at home without any problems. When I asked our A/V installer to run about 20 metres of HDMI from our ceiling-mounted projector at church he recommended using network cable instead, which I hadn’t realised was even a thing.

If anything over 10 metres you are best going over Ethernet and then convertor on each end.

Used a 20m HDMI cable with no issues, but it wasn't for anything above 1080p and wasn't for gaming etc.

I would be looking depending on the distance at either Active HDMI or HDMI over RJ45/CatV.
