Confused with postcode checker
 

We are looking to move and I quite like the look of the VIP bundle. But after putting the new postcode in it says Virgin Media is not available. But looking at the house on rightmove and streetview is clearly shows a brown box on the front of the house and cable points inside.

So I am confused.

Any ideas?

It's in Solihull in the middle of a virgin network. All roads around it have virgin.

Yes I have. They said it's not available. But I was wondering why the house has virgin inputs.

Best guess: They're not actually virgin inputs.

If you could take pics, that might help - particularly what's inside.

This might sound stupid, but are you definitely using the right postcode? It's not a mistake on rightmove or whatever?

That does indeed appear to be cabled.

Just an idea.... Pop to a local Virgin store / stall with the pics and get them to search by road name?

Or failing that... ask for a spotter to visit your property... they can authorise installs...

Just an update. Virgin is now available at my house but already in a contract with Sky so can't do anything. Typical.

I guess it was a capacity issue. Someone left and now there is some space available.

Like to add I had nothing from Virgin to say I could order again even though I registered my interest on cable my street
