i don't understand why people like Stock Android so much?
 

why is it such a big deal? stock experience is kind of boring. take out all the fun stuff and give you only the basic's. Basic phone with a heavy price tag..
OLED screen is cheap aswell.
Don't you think Google is getting abit greedy now?

this is comparing Pixel 2 XL to Note 8 or s8+

Indeed more than happy with my android phone, it does what i ask of it. I don't upgrade religiously every year like some users and have had this phone for 3 years now.

Because some of the "fun stuff" you mention is just crap filling your phone that you don't want and can't remove

Starting with a stock phone, you can add only the stuff you actually want

Well to me stock Android Google Pixel 2 XL is over-rated and over-priced.
only good thing about the Pixel is camera and fast updates, apart from that it's BS.

if i really wanted stock android then i will go with OnePlus 5T instead of Pixel.
even Motorola Moto G5 has stock android.

P.S. Oneplus 5T and Moto 5 have the old design of stock android on the Home screen otherwise its same thing.

And your point is?? There are lots of devices with stock android so it's not like you are being forced to purchase the Pixel.

One plus phones aren't really stock android. It's a custom interface called oxygen I am sure.
